Voodoo Vending is a locally owned vending company serving Cache Valley, Utah. It was founded by Zac Crane after his service in the United States Army as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Officer. During his time overseas and throughout military training, he learned to appreciate the small things that can make a long day better — especially a great snack.
After leaving the military he went on to earn his MBA at Utah State University, where he began studying different industries and business models. He noticed that many vending machines looked like they had not changed since the 1980s, customer service was almost nonexistent, and the overall experience for both businesses and customers had been largely overlooked.
He realized vending could be done much better. By focusing on exceptional customer service, using modern machines, and integrating smart technology into the experience, he believed vending could become something people actually enjoy interacting with. His goal: create a vending experience that actually makes people smile.
